Who I Am

My name is Latonia Gaston. I am a freelance graphic designer and founder of Flowing River Creative Designs.

Writing about yourself is always weird. But, until we have a chance to sit down and actually get to know each other, here’s a few things that you should know.

I stem from a family of varying art backgrounds.I found my niche when I was in junior high school creating calligraphy designs for my fellow classmates. I realized how much I loved to design, so I focused all of my attention on that. I imagined myself in Paris standing in front of the Eiffel Tower. I would be wearing all black and a black beret, easel in front of me and I’d be painting and sipping coffee from the local cafe. Instead, I attended the University of Memphis briefly majoring in Architecture. I then enrolled in Full Sail University to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design. So, I guess Paris will have to wait just a little while longer. I get to design what I love for a company I love.
